Salmon Beach mermaid sketch by Chandler O'Leary

You know, Salmon Beach is already a kind of mythical place, the kind of hidden world you read about in nautical legends. So it was completely fitting to follow the boardwalk path around a curve and suddenly find a siren* waiting on the rocks below.

I am absolutely enamored with your wonderful, beautiful, little sketchbook. I have been to all of the places in UT, MT and CO that you have sketched and all I can do is….. sigh. What a special legacy you are creating with your journals.
I have just started keeping a sketchbook and am teaching myself watercolor (I am a fiber artist – NOT a painter or fine artist in any way, shape or form.) I do salivate so , at the sight of a beautifully done sketchbook.
Thank you for the inspiration. I am marking your page so I can visit OFTEN.
So glad I found you in this big, big blogworld.
