Even if the bitterly cold breeze weren’t enough of a clue, I’d know what time of year it was by the fact that the boardwalk was completely empty last week.
While it would have been nice to see the Shore in its summer glory, winter gave me the best chance to see the whole (apparently endless) expanse of wood, uninterrupted as it ran alongside the beach.
I just stumbled on your website and I’m so glad that I did! What beautiful art you create! I was especially delighted to see these drawings of the Ocean City, NJ boardwalk, one of my favorite places! I currently reside in Biddeford Pool, Maine… I didn’t get through your site to see if you had been up to this part of the country. Anyway, thanks for a great site!
Cheers,
Ava 🙂
I love seeing these drawings of Ocean City. This is the beach town I grew up going to and take our daughters to almost every summer. As soon as I saw the first drawing in my inbox, I was pretty sure it was OCNJ and had to pop over to the blog to see! I’m so glad I did as you had more!
